As the year draws to a close and the holiday season settles in, the entire EM Over Easy team wanted to take a moment to pause, reflect, and reach out to the community that makes this show possible. Whether you are driving to a shift, decompressing after a long night, or enjoying a rare moment of quiet with a cup of coffee, we are sending you our warmest wishes for a Happy Holiday and a Merry Christmas.
First and foremost, a massive thank you to all of you for continuing to listen and support our show. Reaching Season 10 has been an incredible milestone, and we are well aware that we wouldn’t be here without your engagement, your feedback, and your willingness to sit at our “breakfast table” every week. Your passion for emergency medicine and your commitment to bettering our craft is what keeps us energized and inspired to keep the mics on.
During this time of year, our thoughts are especially with those of you who will be spending your Christmas and New Year’s holidays in the Emergency Department. We know the sacrifice that comes with missing family dinners, holiday traditions, and the comfort of home to care for those in their most vulnerable moments. It is a heavy lift, but it is one of the most noble parts of what we do.
Please know that you aren’t alone in those hallways. Members of the EM Over Easy team will be right there working alongside you, donning the scrubs and managing the holiday surges. We understand the unique camaraderie that forms during a holiday shift, and we are proud to stand with you as we provide care for our communities while the rest of the world rings in the new year.
Looking ahead, we are incredibly excited for what’s on the horizon. We are gearing up for the second half of Season 10, and we have some fantastic conversations and “More Than Medicine” insights lined up that we can’t wait to share. The journey through this decade of podcasting has been transformative, and we feel like we are just getting started.
As we turn the page to 2026, we are filled with optimism for what the new year has in store for the show and for all of our listeners. We are constantly looking for new ways to bring value to your practice and your lives, and we promise to keep pushing the boundaries of what a medical podcast can be.
